Bongo Flava star Ali Kiba says his relationship with his Kenyan ex-wife is now positive, despite their messy split in 2022. “We finalized our divorce in harmony, and she is happy. There’s no bad blood between us; we’re both in a good place,” he said.
Ali Kiba married Amina Khaleef in April 2018 in a lavish ceremony in Mombasa, followed by a public celebration in Dar es Salaam broadcast on Azam TV. The couple lived together for three years, but constant arguments and claims of disrespect and infidelity strained their marriage.
On January 8, 2021, Amina filed for divorce, requesting Sh200,000 monthly maintenance for their two children. She said the marriage was irretrievably broken. Although Ali Kiba tried to save the union after the filing, the divorce was finalized in 2022.
After the divorce, Amina initially vented frustrations on social media, but the two have since moved on, with Ali Kiba in a new relationship and both parties maintaining an amicable connection.
